I dont want to be lugging around a mobile unit but the price is impressive for that amount of power. I think a handheld with 2-5 watts would be more then enough. I use a two watt and on most drives its more then enough and its good for a 5 mile stretch. Like most after using a professional radio communications there is no substitute when it counts.

Small price to pay for quality. I would be in.

Do you have pics? Want to see what the unit looks like?

Second that, but would they work for those of us with topless cars? (Effect of wind-noise...?)

    1. Order the exterior tag (i.e. mounted on your license plate) - it's really for convertibles, but EZ Pass don't care.

    2. Make sure whenever you change vehicle or change plate you notify EZ Pass, b/c in an event you went through the Tolls and EZ Pass didn't work properly, they will match the plate with your account and bill you just for the Toll amt.

The only time you get fined is when the plate is not matched properly to the EZ PAss Tag and you went through the Toll but the Tag didn't get picked up.

EZ Pass is free here and you get a discount at local bridges and tunnels with it and I had no trouble using it in the tristate area and upwards towards new england either.

next time, I am taking the time to write the letter and fight.....I got soured when they fined me for exceeding the 5mph limit through the tol booth with ezpass ( they not finally got the the concept right and now at some toll booths there is a minimum speed...but I wrote letters and *****ed and got nowhere other than a form letter back stating a threat that if I get a 2nd speeding violation through the booth again I would be banned for life from the system and ez pass is a privledge service and not a right..etc.
