My F-1 pump relay went bad and I've been reading that the original 30 amp relay was prone to failure and potentially burning out the pump. It is a big enough problem that some were suggesting replacing the relay every year and carrying a spare. Fortunately, my fuse blew first. According to what I found online, Ferrari's replacement relay went to 40 or 50 amps. But several dealers find only the 30 amp replacement for the 5 pin receptacle in my car.
Does anyone know if there are 5 pin upgrades available or work arounds to use a higher amp relay? Any help greatly appreciated.

Its late here in the UK to find it for you but take a look in the 360 section - this has been often covered

Search function inde F chat doesn't turn up much but I read a lot of posts that came up through google. Can anyone confirm that the best upgrade for my 5 pin 2001 360 relay is a supposedly heavier duty but still 30 amp relay available from g***j***i on ebay. His Ferrari part #155437. The dealers show no upgrade to my part.

I thought I've read that there is a heavy duty BMW part number that works. I could be way off. However it is a fairly hot topic.. surprised search didn't pull up something.

According to Ricambi, this 40 amp 4 pin relay replaces the 5 pin original 30 amp relay. It appears the pin configuration will work. Hopefully, this is the final solution for myself and others. Did not see this solution mentioned in all the reading I did. Amazingly, the relay is only $8.
Thanks to mseals for posting the link!
