I guess that I should clarify my comments on F-1 with some facts. Nunber 1: M. Schumacher is probably the winningest GP driver since Nuvolari, Ascari, and Fangio. Absolutely better than than anybody out there. Number 2 : Ferrari has set a record that will stand for years with their technical expertise and unbeatable cars. Number 3 : F-1 has become ( for me ) a non-competitive event. I think back to the 20's and 30's when Bugatti was unbeatable. Then Alfa and Mercedes had their time. In the U.S. it was the Miller race cars, etc. Recently in the hydros when the Slo-Motion dynasty was finally equaled you could see 15 to 18 COMPETITIVE boats on the course going head to head. I like competition and I would like to see Montoya, Button, or Kimi or whomever nipping at Schumacher's butt to give us some COMPETITION.
That day is coming. Schuey is going to quit some day. The rest of the Ferrari gang will eventually dispurse to other pursuits and a big hole where several teams will be going at it to be champ. Then there will be another dynasty although it may be a long time before we see one like Ferrari has had or McLaren had in the 80's.
