I have been notified by my friend that she is looking into doing an auction of the various cars she owns, including the F12, and propose them at the venue at Pebble Beach. Personally, I do not think it is in her best interest, thus I would appreciate your input about the pros and cons of selling this car, in particular via auction, and the other ones too ... The other cars, are more of the collectible type, so another ball of wax. I am not at liberty yet to disclose what they are. Thank you. Regards, Alberto
Yes, the vehicle is still available. It has been a while that I have not read the original post, thus my late reply. We are selling the car. Find something similar, make a 'reasonable offer' and I assure you the car will be yours. Please, no low balling, as by now everyone knows this is not a 'fire sale'. Let me know about your interest? Regards, Alberto
Alberto, Please pass along condolences to your friend for her loss. As her husband was a part of our community of Ferrari owners and lovers, the least we can do is show some basic human kindness and offer our best wishes in her time of need. There's nothing worse than losing a loved one and then having to figure out what to do with their belongings that were their priced possessions in some cases. I just went through it and I can tell you it is no fun. Good luck with the sale, my friend. It is a beautiful car and I'm sure you will find a good home for it.
Thank you for the kind words, I shall communicate them to my friend, I am certain they will be of comfort. I only wish we could sell the car...,as if it were her only headache... Find it surprising that albeit there are many cars available similar to hers, not many people are interested, except incredibly low offers, entirely absurd ones, yet I can assure all concerned that if a reasonable offer is made, and a decent negotiation can be commenced, I assure you that this will be sale of the year... Trust me, I have power of conviction. Kind regards, Alberto
Alberto, Cars of this calibre require about 3-6 months to sell and sometimes more. You need to be patient. It is also not to your advantage having so few photos and no price. You should mention a price. If you want a higher price then it will take longer. If the car is priced competitively it will take less time.
You are right, but out of the blue, someone very transparent and serious approached me. As fairly near to the car's location, he will make time to take a look, then will proceed with further developments if he likes what he sees. I really like this sort of approach. Regards, Alberto
