    Dear Comrades,

    I am informed that because of the way the fuel pumps are mounted in the F-40 (there are two) and their proximity to the driver (they are situated immediately behind the driving seat) they are bound to appear noisy. I should be grateful for any views and opinions. However, it is possible that the UK cars may have different pumps or indeed that the pumps may be placed within a different positon due to the fitment of aluminium tanks in the US cars.

    In the US cars, the fuel pumps are inset into the tanks. I can't hear them at all!
