    Dear Comrade Joe Sackey,

One thing is certain and that is they are not intending to create a motor car museum. Accordingly, this motor car is very much 'Foir Sale' they are also very confident of getting the price.

    With kind regards,

For several months there have been a good number of English F40's for sale at the £200,000 / £220,000 level. In Euroland they seem to be more expensive, EUR 325,000 is the current ask for a 1992 2 owner car with 8,900kms.

    Dear Comrade Birel,

Joe Sackey is the resident expert on the F-40 pricing and he has a theory expounded only recently that the 'collector' is not seeking anything other than the very best and for which he/she is prepared to pay the proper price. Such people are not interested in the cars that have been molested - for example, I understand there is an F-40 available with a hi-fi system with speakers drilled into the doors; the people to whom Joe Sackey refers would not want such a car. Therefore it would appear to be a two tier market. And please, I purport no expertise for myself, I am merely Joe Sackeys apprentice and as Joe knows everything, I am gleaning as much information as I can for the book I intend to write later this year when at such time I shall know everything there is to know. The proceeds of the book are to be squandered upon an F-40 LM - or a replica, depending on how well the sales go.

    All good wishes.

    With kind regards,
