F-40 LM Throttle linkage?

    One of the F-40s on Sheehan's web page is quoted to have an LM throttle linkage. Can anyone explain what that consists of? I was curious if they might have used a mechanical linkage in place of the cable- I have always preferred the "smoother" feel of a mechanical linkage over the hard spots associated with throttle cables.
