    Is anyone aware of a bosch part number which might replace the original O2 sensor ?

    If you give me the Ferrari p/n, or whatever numbers are on the original, I will try to run it though my Bosch reference database, and see if I can match a Bosch p/n to it.

    I believe that Dave Helms will be the only gentleman who may have the correct O2 sensor for a F40. Good luck.

    can't help here, I just love this thread.
    The OP askes a question, just like a Civic or Grand Cherokee owner would post "Does anyone have a part number for an other-OEM oxygen sensor?"
    Love it :)
    carry on

    It might not be as "silly" as you think.

    You might be surprised at what information some of us have lying around......:)

    +++++++++++++++++++++++++++

    JOHN ---

    I just remembered that I have the information here on my laptop that I am traveling with --- that's the good news. The bad is news is unfortunately, although I have the data for every other model (including the F50) of that era, I do not have it for the F40 :(

    This might have to do with the fact that EFI system on the F40 was not Bosch --- it was a Weber-Marelli system, so they may have sourced the O2 sensors from someone other than Bosch. Also, because of this, there may not be a Bosch equivalent sensor available ???? I would call / PM Dave (Helms) on this ---- he may have come across a Bosch sensor that works? Sorry I couldn't help.

    ....and, if Dave can't help, give Tate at Carobu a call --- he's done some EFI tuning with the F40 and might know of something that will work.

    Good Luck

    I'm sure there is. In fact, I'm quite sure the OEM sensor Ferrari uses on the 430 is a Bosch unit.

    My data for Bosch / Ferrari cross-references stops at about the MY 2000, because that's the year "my source" (a buddy of mine) stopped working for Bosch. So, I'm afraid I never got any info for the newer cars --- sorry I can't help you there.

    Contact the guys at Ricambi, I'm sure they can get the Bosch p/n on that one for you :) Here's their website ----
