    I have often wondered on the F40 whether the wheels and tires are the same on the european model as the USA models. I see wheels advertised in Italy all the time and wonder . Does anyone know.

    I know the seats are totally different and the seat belts also.

    The wheels may have been the same but the tyres offered were different.

    The US version of the owners manual (factory # 606/90) only discusses Pirelli PZeros and Bridgestone RE 71.

    The Euro version of the owners manual (factory # 610/90) discusses not only the Pirelli PZeros and Bridgestone RE 71 but also the Goodyear Eagle GSA and the Michelin MXX.

    You are correct as to what is quoted in the manuals.

    BUT, on the ground inspecting the cars, its clear that USA cars were delivered with a random application of all 4 makes: Pirelli, Bridgestone, Goodyear and Michelin.
    My previous F40 was delivered with Goodyears, and my current car with Pirellis. I have also seen cars that are still shod with original tires that happen to be both Michelins and Bridgestones.
