What's F430's service requirement? Does someone have that?

Although not required, I changed the oil and filter after running in (<5000rpm) at 1500 km.
The service book says: 10,000 km, 30,000 km, 50,000 km etc.
As well, you need an annual service, irrespective of mileage travelled.

Yes there is! You don't have to take an engine out. A huge saving itself on the labor charges.

If you go by the book, 430's don't get much maintenance. For US cars, the 1st service is at 5K or one year and requires an oil change, some inspections, etc. After that, intervals are 15K though fluid changes need to be done on time if you don't drive enough. Spark plugs at 30K, filters at normal intervals. In terms of maintenance, it's the cheapest car Ferrari has ever made. Hopefully, it will be reliable too. So, far, mine is off to an excellent start.

I changed my oil/filter on my F430 at ~2800 miles about 3 months ago because I just wanted fresh oil to replace what was put in at the factory. I now have ~ 4300 miles on it. I was told at the 5K or annual you should change all the fluids in the car. Cost is around $1500. Since I will have the 5K on the car well before I have owned the car a year, should I do it at 5K or wait the one year, which is in December 06'?

Since you already changed the oil at ~2800 miles, I think it should be O.K. to wait till Dec. 06'.

What about the other fluids they recommend changing in addition to the oil?

To protect your warranty, get an answer from FNA. I suspect they will want to change the fluid at 5K. If not then wait the one year.

That is excellent to read you put 2800 miles on your F430 in 3 months. How has your F430 been since you got it? I have been looking for a F430. I am interested in hearing from owners as to how the F430 has been. Any issues?

I did a search and read some of the comments. I wanted to re-ask this question as it has been a little while now to see if any other things have occurred.

Does anyone have any idea how many F430s have been delivered here in the US so far?

    Thanks

My stick shift coupe is 10 months old with 4250 miles. 0 issues so far. The dealer performed updates as recommended by the factory. These are free. Ferrari delivers about 1100 cars a year to the US, mostly 430's. Deliveries began about 16 months ago, so, I'm guessing there are now 1000-1100 in the US. Have no idea how it would break down coupes vs spiders.
