Not sure if you could build that. Looks like it would mess up a pedestrian in even a low speed impact.

should not be surprised. typical student work that aims for immediate attention seeking.. it is just messy.
not taking away from the hard work to actualize it from scratch to a scale model, but i have seen tons of bad stuff from that department over the years.

So this F80 Concept car was designed in 2014, and the Robb Report was written on May 9, 2016.

(From: The Designer of the Ferrari F80 Concept Opens Up on His Internet Sensation [Q&A] | Automobiles) :

"Is Ferrari aware of your concept?"

"I sent my portfolio to both Pininfarina and Ferrari but have not received any official reaction. I have a friend who works for the marque and I occasionally bug him about it. The concept has gone viral so many times online that I’m sure they have seen it and will contact me if they want to—but I’m still waiting for that."

So two years on and the designer has still not heard anything at all from either Ferrari (despite having "a friend who works for the marque"), or Pininfarina? - Take the hint Bubba!

Tough crowd. To each his own. I still like it and appreciate the concept and design. I wouldn't presume that nobody in Italy has taken notice though...
