If all goes as expected, I may soon be acquiring a building in the south subs.

My business will occupy the front part of the building and in the rear portion, I am thinking of offering alarmed, climate controlled parking for a select group of cars. The rear of the building also has a clear sightline to the local police station 1/2 block away.

If there is any interest, please post replies.

I am trying to gauge interest.

The town is Monee, which does boast one distinct advantage. It is surrounded by country roads where the ability to DRIVE is abundantly present.

Monee is about 55 miles actual miles (not as the crow) from Mt. Prospect, 37 from the loop, off of I-57.

Mount Prospect is where the Emperor hails. Is this why you mention such a town?

I hear he is charging Maut for rights of passage. If you don't pay, he'll storm down from his Mountain in a fiery carriage drawn (or was it pushed?) by eight black horses of the Apocalypse.

I thought about doing something like that with some farm property. Problem you may run into would be insurance, and also access to the peeps' cars. I doubt you are intending to have an attendant there 24/7, and I doubt you'll be distributing building keys...

Certainly a service with much demand.

I for one would be interested. I lost my heated space for this coming winter. Also maybe my bike. Please keep us posted with cost , etc.

    Thanks for asking

    Hi Dan,
I would probably be going with on-call access, the building is not too far from home and since my business (where I put in long hours) will be there, I don't think it will be a problem. If it is, I'll consider the options.

I would have approximately 2500 to 3500 squares available, so it may be feasible to hire a retired neighborhood person on an on-call basis for the times that I may not be available.

Wow, speaking of the Skippity in such reverent reference, actually I think it would be more like him standing on the street corner tossing small Toska Tortes at passerby. :D

I thought it was. So what is it?

BTW: What's the scoop on the car in your profile? Yours or "just" a dream car?

Sorry Dan, wink wink, didn't want to blow your cover. :D

Why don't you let us know what your REAL name is? It doesn't mean I'll remember it, with my present memory problems. :( So your cover may still remain intact, after all. :D

    Joren ,
Thank you, for your thoughtful consultation however, I feel it may be a bit pretentious, to even imagine, that I might be able to offer, facilities that would be worthy of mention in the same page, let alone the same sentence as the one you have shared with us. :D

That place is incredible! To say the least.

    Regards,
    Bill
