F-Chat is still s l o w

I have noticed that it has been extre-slow lately.

 

seems to depend on the time of day for me. 5-7pm PST is awful, and I see I have a family now, when did that happen

 

Of all the sites I peruse, this one is, indeed, consistently the slowest.

 

slow here on my broadband connection also--usually runs at 9-10mbps

 

running normal speed here in arsetrailer, but every now and then (maybe once per day or two) i won't be able to even connect for 15-20 mins for some reason, just keeps timing out.

For what its worth , its always really slow for me too at just about every time of day.

 

Probably not much.
But it also has been s l o w here in Aus.........

Get some persective!

If you don't have the time, patients or understadning of the value of F-chat, go somewhere else.

The time effort and $ to produce this resource far exceeds any small delay that you might experience.

 

Coincidently now it's pretty zippy. It has been dragging lately. Seems like Rob just juiced it up after seeing this thread.

 

There's nothing wrong with people asking a legitimate question. I haven't seen anyone jump up and down screaming about how terrible F-chat is.

 

IMO, the site should come down unexpectedly 24hrs and an announcement left up that says go take a drive and come back with a story. It will be up tomorrow.

Restrict the site to those from different IPs from their primary IP so those travelling and away from their rides can log in still while the rest of us do something more productive and circulate our own engine oil.

everything takes 30 secs minimum ...initial loading ...change between forums ...etc .Only Fchat.

 

Humm… I’m not having any problems, but we are on a 1Gig fibre optic connection. Maybe I’m lucky…
