First and foremost, people are getting EXTREMELY worked up in the other thread floating around. A couple things for us to be aware of: 1. The backroom lounge exists, is being used, and lets those who want to post questionable material do so. 2. This site is still composed of enthusiasts who all share the same passion. Fact #2 is one that needs to be remembered here more. Because in the end, we all just love these stupid cars. That's it! Drug use, sex, exploits, name calling, cursing, and feces throwing. These are things you wouldn't necessarily be inclined to take part in if your mother were here. F-chat is a decent place. And as such, it requires people to act decently. And as a decent place, the system has been created to give everyone an opportunity to have their outlet. So the bickering back and forth is essentially pointless. I don't give a damn if you are 65 or 15. Baby boomer or Gen X. Smart or stupid. Drug user or sober. Nice or mean. Just shape up, stop acting like a bunch of children, and post whatever the hell you want(but do so in the appropriate setting). All that is occuring now is a bunch of egos striking back and forth at each other when the reality of the situation is that the bickering DOES NOTHING to change how Rob runs his site. So come on, move on, and stop this before people get ticked and leave, words are exchanged that don't need to be between adults, and the general feel of this place gets cold. If you look around at the other sections of the board, people are still friends, Ferrari is what is discussed, and people rarely get into arguements and subversion. This reminds me of when eveyone was up in arms over the software change. Seriously, was it really all that of a big deal? No, and neither is this current nonsense. You don't like it, leave. You wouldn't walk into a middle school classroom and act like a complete freak, so don't walk into OOT expecting that it is ok to do so. Now, would you possibly act a little different in a dive bar with buddies? Sure! Backroom lounge is the bar of Fchat. Simple as that.
