F-Chat Western Michigan Tour Being Discussed via Lake Express Ferry

    F-Chat Chicago as well as the Michigan chapter is discussing a western Michigan tour via the new Milwaukee/Muskegan car ferry service slated to begin service June 2004.

    The new ship will cross Lake Michigan in 2.5 hours and will have very nice passenger accomodations. For further details on the ship see:

    The plan is to coordinate an F-car group taking the new ferry across the lake then merging with the Michigan chapter for a tour. This will be an overnight weekend trip.

    I will be contacting the ferry service for scheduling and fares when available. I understand there will be group rates available.

    I know it's a bit early, but would any of you be interested in participating in such an event ?
