Gee...I'm stuck up here in 18F. There's sand all over the roads and snow everywhere. More coming tommorrow and I'm freezing. Thanks guys...Just what I needed. Someone to point out what a mistake it was to live here.

I hear its colder than normal all around the US. What does that make it...like 65F? (you bastards).

+1 on that! And Ernie complains that it's 'too windy'...sheesh! How about 29F...in my garage! Now I know why my valve cover wouldn't come off, it was frozen on :D

Nice cars in Vegas guys, we're just a teeny bit jealous of your warm weather.

Thanks again for meeting up guys. Unfortunately the photos I took with my camera did not come out much better than those which were just posted. The sun ruined everything. No problem though. Great fun anyway.

    Yeah....but its DRY heat.

Any way you look, it's way better than 100F with 98% humidity. I noticed they were all berlinetta's...trying to keep the A/C in?

    Are you serious?

You think it's cold there try to Imagine this two days ago with wind chill we hit -46 Celsius that's -51 fahrenheit now that's COLD!

Sorry just jealous great shots by the way all three look really sweet.

Note of interest it only stays that cold when we get a front from the north and usually only a couple of days at the most, a couple of cold days that is...lol

That's even worse than at Jay's place. Now I know why real estate cost so much here. That is nuts.

Ah yes, I remember the Santa Fe. Built for the trucker traffic on I-95 before all the building out there. Now it's right in the middle of the NW expansion. Time was the SF was the only casino out there. A charming place to see ink and drink beer while you played $2 Blackjack. :)

Nice pix and cars regardless. :D

I could tell right away that it was your 348 ;) Looks so much sportier than the others, no offense!

Amazing, I wish I could meet up with some Ferrari owners but no one really wants to take their cars out in 2 ft of snow, not to mention the -25 weather.

:::sigh::: yea... the good ol days. Stations Casino's bought it about 6-7 years ago. They tripled its size and quadrupled the greed factor.
They quickly tore down the ice arena and installed a KIDS QUEST AND MOVIE THEATER!!! They totally remodeled the bowling center 4 years ago, theres nowhere to sit now, but there's plenty of fancy new disco crap installed for cosmic bowling 7 days a week!!
The leagues that are still left there are forced to take buy-nights on days that kids are scheduled to be off school, summer leagues were completely eliminated! That place totally sucks now.... friggin kids EVERYWHERE!!
The last time I was in there to meet my parents for dinner, my Mom went to the restroom and came back looking like she just saw someone being tortured and murdered!! Turns out, she walked in there to find two early-teen girls making out and ''heavy petting'' on the floor...

^^^^ Trip down memory lane, I remember having birthday parties at the bowling arena years ago, I didn't know it was still there, everytime I get to Vegas something is gone and something new is up.

Hey, the Sante Fe buffet and poker room is awesome though. I live out in that area and I remember the Sante Fe years ago when it first went up. It was a bit of a dive back then, but it had some serious personality. Station Casino's who owns it now remains in the top 100 best companies to work for in the US (top 10 IIRC) so more power to them. However I do somewhat miss the personality of the old place (rarely tho :p).

Well, that was kindof my point... I miss Vegas' personality in general! I wish the locals joints were still ''a bit of a dive''! Folks were treated like guests & family, not like dollar sign's. I used to love going to Sam's Town when it looked more like a tattered old barn than a shopping mall!
Anyway, i'm done whining about this... but you'll never catch me saying anything good about ''corporate Vegas'' or the critical over-population problems we have here as a result... not what I singed up for back when I moved here.

HOWEVER, if I keep running into guys like yourself and Reg, it'll do wonders for my moral as a ''Las Vegan''!! :D
