There are many people that i would like to see, granted some of them would not want to see me, but i am curious and would like to meet Wax, frogman, and TonyH.

I never ment it that way dude. What i ment was there are some petty folk that may have me on there ignore list, personaly i dont use an ignore list its silly. I have had the pleasure over the years to meet many F-Chatters.
Some have become customers, some have become friends and some have become both.

Recently I had the pleasure to meet James G. A real treat. Also met people I talked to for years like Rob Lay and Lawwdog. Some you feel you know for years and then you put a face to them. Its just great.
Dale in Houston, Speedy in Houston, what a treat.

Often though you end up not having enough time to talk to everybody you want to. Monterey Dinner was one of those occasions. I would have wanted to stay for 12 more hours to get a chance to talk to everybody. Art for example I missed. I hope we will get more opportunities in the future. It is always a treat to meet new guys. Always fun and always interesting.

There will be always people you never forget.

I'm damn impressed you could spit out those two huge lists!


I've had the pleasure of meeting a great many of the Texas crowd, a bunch more in Monterey, and a few on The Players' Run. There are a great many that I have not yet met, but am looking forward to... I expect to cover a lot of my list in the next year by attending: 1) Ferrari French Quarter Classic (many on my short list will be there); 2) Cavallino (I haven't met many at all from the east coast); 3) FCA2005 and the USGP. However, I suspect I'll need to hit Pocono at some point to get more of the northeast crowd. Someday I'll make it across the pond to Goodwood and to Spa Ferrari Days and to the Italian and San Marino GPs... those'll be necessary to meet a number of the Europeans that I'd like to meet. And then I guess the Australia GP... so much visiting to do!

HOWEVER, more than just meeting F-chatters, I'd really prefer the chance to sit down and get to know them. For example, I met a bunch of F-chatters at Monterey... but typically just 2-minute conversations... not too "satisfying"... only with a few did I get the luxury of a longer conversation. For example, I really enjoyed getting to know Mr. Glickenhaus (Napolis) and his family a bit... ran across them a number of times in Monterey... but I'd love to continue those conversations further (and introduce them to my similarly aged kids).

With that said, I don't want to get to know them as well as some of the Texas crowd has evidently gotten to know Rob!! (sorry, inside joke... and no, I won't be explaining)

 

Did you specifically introduce yourself as Brian Stradale...? i was looking forward to meeting you and was hoping to sit down and chat... Damn... Sorry, dude... i believe you that we met, i guess my memory's worse than i thought it was... Let me make it up to you in November...
