Does anyone know if the optional challenge rims are in any way better than the standard ones?

    Why?

    Maybe weight, rigidity, dynamics??

The only thing that I can guess is that the standard ones has better ventilation?

I ordered the challenge rims just for aesthetics but if it´s a better rim, even better.

    Thank you.

    :)

They're lighter, and I would bet stronger. You get some additional weight savings from the titanium lug bolts. IMO, one of the best options to get on the 430.

Do you know what kind of compound? The standard ones are alluminium, right?

Maybe the challenge are also alluminium but different compound.

Maybe too much to ask but do you know the weight of both standard and challenge.

    Thank u anyway.

    ;)

Note: First I had a regular Rims 430 and know I´m waiting for another one with challenge ones..., so beautifull.

Sorry, I don't have the weight figures. I'd be interested to learn also.

    know about the figures??

and what compound are they made of?

I´m sure more difficult questions have been asked here, common!

Hope we have the answer soon.

    Cu all

You can order the polished rims. I am not sure if they are lighter or stronger.

isn't the standard wheels cast Al and the CS style forged? Forged are usually stronger than cast.

I also ordered the Challange rims on my July 430 Spider. Note that the optional tire pressure monitors are not offered with these rims so far but it was a small price to pay for the look which I think is fantastic.
