Next May the 6th Historic Grand Prix will be held in Monte-Carlo (http://www.formula1monaco.com/). A very special event as many people have told me.

I was also invited to join the Dutch F-Chat section on their trip to Italy (http://www.ferrarichat.com/forum/showthread.php?t=176095), so I decided to combine both trips:

Thursday: flight to Milan, travelling to Monaco

    Friday: Monaco
    Saturday: Monaco Historic Grand Prix
    Sunday: Monaco Historic Grand Prix

Monday till Wednesday: travelling from Monaco to Bolzano

Later that Wednesday I will be travelling to Innsbruck by train. On the morning of the next day I will meet up with my Dutch F-Chat friends for a couple of fun days in the italian countryside and of course we will be visiting holy ground: Maranello.

I'm interested to know if there will be other F-Chatters present at the Monaco Historic Grand Prix, what are the "must-see's" in Monaco and which places are worth visiting on my way from Monaco to Bolzano.

    Like to hear from you!

    Sounds like fun!

I tried to book a hotel in Monaco but most of them were a bit too expensive... The hotels I could afford were mostly booked.

5 Weeks to go! It's getting close!

As far as the Bonhams auction is concerned:

    "Forthcoming Sale

    Les Grandes Marques à Monaco
On Saturday 10 May Bonhams is to hold once again, at the Musée des Voitures du Prince, its 'Grande Marques à Monaco' Sale. This year cooinciding with the Grand Prix Historique de Monte Carlo, the Sale is a perfect event for those wishing to sell their collector's motor car or sports car.

Our specialists in both Paris and Bruxelles are available for valuations, and to explain how to enter your vehicule in this prestigious sale.

2007 was a great success with collections such as the French collection of Aston Martin's, or the Dutch collection of GTs from the 70s reached exceptional prices; and of course the beautiful Jaguar Supersonic which whose hammer price soared way above its estimate.
