So do I, but I still consider it's a Mickey Mouse circuit, not very representative in racing terms. Monaco cannot improve: it's not even a one square mile country, FFS !!!
I don't disagree. I highly value the prowess necessary to put the car on pole, and the extra glory that comes from winning when not starting on pole.
Just like the Casino, the Monaco circuit is a high risk gamble. Personally, I prefer high speed tracks like Spa, Monza or Suzuka.
As of now, the forecast for Monaco race weekend is - WET! That could make for a most interesting race.
They should force all the teams to make a smaller car just for Monaco...and when they see how much better the racing is, they can make those the specs for the whole season.
So do I. Qualifying I admit is the best part. But how often do we see impossibly boring races on real tracks as well?
One of the best trophy's on the F1 calendar. Image Unavailable, Please Login Image Unavailable, Please Login
Monaco is all about the parties... and not much about racing. I've been several times over the years... each time after I say never again... Have not been since all the Russian money infestation... chopper rides from Nice to Monaco doubled!
