1.8 meters wide, 2.4 meter wheelbase, 600 Kg.........

The "just for Monaco" part is a non-starter with the cost cap in place.
But for the whole season, it could be a winner......

Now all they need to do is get the whole power unit under 90 Kg. Oh wait, just bring back the V10s--they were already that light........

That's a pretty good freakin idea!!! Make it a curved ramp going over the harbor or eye level to the boat harbor. The only place to pass too and under a DRS zone.

I don't get all the news around a livery for a race... it makes no sense to me. who cares. McLaren need to focus on not being the next Williams... vs. what the car looks like....

I never cared about car liveries; to me it's not important and doesn't make the car go faster.
This craze started around the turn of the century with the new audience; we never had that in the "old days".
Yes, McLaren needs to focus a bit more on performance than aesthetic.

So, Ferrari found a new variant of "shooting oneself in the foot" .

Giovinazzi ?? FFS Why not Schwartzman ?

Doesn't change of liveries cut from their budget, as well?

Maybe the team doesn't pay for it, and the sponsor does?

This is why reading the small prints in a sponsorship contract is essential.

No optimistic dream talk about what our chances might be? Not even a couple of upgrades to try? No conjecture about increased rumors of Lewis being in a Ferrari next year? But replacing Carlos and Charles? What are the odds that Max and Checco take each other out on the first lap, and Lewis wins? Less than a third of the season done and it's a forgone conclusion that Max wins WDC #3? The weather seems to be behaving...here is the forecast. weather forecast for monaco grand prix - Search (bing.com)

You may think that liveries are stupid, but that picture is in all F1 websites now and we´re talking about it. It´s a very inexpensive way of getting exposure, they would do a new livery for each race if it didn´t wear out so quickly.

Personally I didn´t know that McLaren hadn´t won at Monaco till 1984.

Getting exposure is not a priority; getting results is.

When was the last time McLaren won a GP ?

    2021, and 2012 before that !!!

Exposure means sponsors, sponsors mean money and money means results. Also it brings awareness on their Indycar team to the F1 crowd. They have a good chance at winning the Indy 500, so it´s good to show that not everything at McLaren is as bad as their F1 team. Also must be taken into consideration that McLaren sells cars, caps and all that stuff, a bit of shameless self promotion is necessary.
