Guys - need your help !! When I pulled on my driveway after a short drive around my gear box warning light came on (engine hood sign showing up) and now the car will only go into 1st / 2nd or reverse. What could be the problem ? There's all sorts of stuff in the tech manuals but no easy check lists to work from. I haven't been able to get it connected to an SD-1 / 2 as yet but hoping I could avoid this if at all possible. Desperation has set in.......bring light to my life please
Had the same problem after lubricating all connectors in the engine bay. In my case it was one of the the electric connection to the gearbox that had come loose (or I didnt put it back ;-). Check all connectors going to tha gear box first, might fix it.
Just had a similar problem with warning light coming on. Turned out to be a bad connection - main dealer checked it out and fixed for !!
