    Hi,

Hoping to get advice from some knowledgeable 360 experts. I returned home after a long time in Europe, my 360 was stored for about 6 months on the Ferrari battery tender. When I got back the battery was completely dead and the doors wouldn't open with the key. Thanks to a locksmith, I got that problem fixed, and I replaced the battery. But now there are a couple strange behaviors that it was not exhibiting before the storage, when everything was working fine.

    1. Alarm siren: after I charged and re-connected a new battery, the alarm siren was going off constantly (with the power main switch both off and on). No problem, I thought, just need to use the alarm button on the fob, or put the key in the ignition (or door). But none of those worked, regardless of trying to disable the alarm with the fob, or putting the key in, the alarm siren would not shut up. After doing some research here, I suspected the dreaded alarm module battery leaking problem, so I removed the panels in the front bonnet and disconnected the siren module. That took care of the siren problem, and the car started and ran perfectly (but of course with the alarm LED on). I have not been able to get the siren module open yet to check it for the battery issue, so I can't yet determine if that is the problem. But the question is - is it normal for the alarm to go off after a long period of dead battery, and if yes, how do you deactivate it?

    2. A new problem appeared today on about a 1-hour drive. This is the first time I've encountered it. After some stop-and-go driving for about 45 minutes (not a lot of extended periods of higher speeds, more in-city driving), when I came to a stop, the F1 warning light went on and I heard the warning beep. I let it sit for a minute or so, idling, to see if it was going to die or not allow me to shift (was in neutral at the time), but all appeared to be OK and I took off. After less than a minute, the F1 warning lamp went off on its own, and did not re-appear. When I got home, I checked the F1 fluid level (which was changed about 2k miles ago) and it was right at full. What does this mean, the early signs of problems with the F1 pump? Why might it do this after a long storage?

Thanks for any advice and opinions, they're greatly appreciated.

I had this happen twice in a 1yr period and just replaced my 355's F1 pump with a brand-new 360 pump. Your pump MAY be dying. FoS found small metal slivers in the F1 fluid. You might want to have the system checked. :)

Is there a filter in the F1 pump?

Yes it is. It is located at the inlet of the pump inside the hose that connects the F1 canister and the pump.

Topped off F1 fluid (was maybe 1.5oz low) and have not had the F1 light again.

Alarm issue still unresolved, when siren connected it still signals and cannot be shut off.
