    The 16M has a badge signifying 16 F1 Constructors World Championships, yet the 458 has a plaque on the dash that reads 31 Formula 1 World Titles. Does the 458 plaque refer to Drivers Championships, I would assume?

    Thanks, not the most pressing question of this section, but I was curious none the less. :) I guess that begs the next question: what year did we lose the drivers but win the constructors?

    Ferrari won the Constructors championship in 76, Lauda lost driver by 1 pt, 82, Villeneuve died Pironi out by 3pts 83 Tamby & Arnoux and 99 Schumi accident - Irvine almost WC. The Constructors did not come into being until 1958... but Ferrari drivers also won WCs back thru the 50's.... at leat 4 more times, Hawthorne wone the WC but Vanwall the WCC the first year of the constructors Championship.

    The sad part is Ferrari only celebrates its F-1 heritage... they could also claim many Constructors championships in sports cars as well.

    That is why I love this site, you guys know it all. Thanks. very aware of the other titles, just curious about the F1 plaques in the new cars. Thanks guys! Always a wealth of info.

    2008. Ferrari won the constructors in 1961, 1964, 1975, 1976, 1977, 1979, 1982, 1983, 1999, 2000, 2001, 2002, 2003, 2004, 2007, 2008. The 16M was launched in 2009 to celebrate the 2008 win and to move unsold 430 spiders :).
