    Hi All,

I got this product recently and haven't had any luck with the SW or instructions...I'd like to use that on a 360 with the new TCU (2003 model)...is this possible? I saw mixed posts on the Ferrari 360.

Also the package says that it comes with 2 free car manufacturers, does that mean we need additional capability or what's needed to have this fully working on the 360? Thank you all!

I'd be very curious also as I still only have 10.26 and currently stuck at a PIS of 5.

Why is your PIS stuck at 5? What is the clutch config, vs selflearned clutch config? What is the current wear reading?

The clutch wear index was reading extremely high at almost 7000 and clutch engagement seemed very lazy requiring a fair amount of rpm's for take off in 1st. Visually looking through the sight window at the clutch assembly the disks looked like they were still fairly new having very distinct grooves yet in the friction material, making me think the clutch had been recently changed but not set correctly in the tcu. The car didn't come with any maintenance history when I purchased in November.

I took a gamble and changed the PIS from around 5.7 to the whole number of 5. The clutch started grabbing too well and stalled the car when warmed up on take off in 1st. Wear index was still artificially high at around 6900 but slowly dropping, so at that point I did the reset to get the wear index back to 4000 and engagement has been much better since. Wear index is holding a bit under 4000. I've driven about 1500 miles this way and clutch closed position has only increased slightly.

I'd love to be able to do decimals though as without that I can't test lower than 5.0 to see if slightly tighter would be more optimal.

Someone please give a heads up if able to try version 10.80. Would certainly be a game changer if the PIS decimal issue is fixed. Fingers crossed......

From version 10.80 it is running, you have to do it as I do in the video then it works. You can now set decimal places, but it will not accept the decimal numbers exactly as you put them in, but the numbers are close together. Just give it a try, have fun.
Do not be surprised why I join the F360 on the F430 menu. I have the Chellenge stradale TCU.

    Checking your inputs.

    Start 5.40
    Enter 5.20
    Reads 5.18?

I have 10.80 but haven’t tried it for PIS setting.

As i mentioned in my First Post you can now set decimal places, but it will not accept the decimal numbers exactly as you put them in, but the numbers are close together. For example if you write 5.20 It will read 5.18. There are Some numbers that you write in and it exaktly reads it like this as you typed in.

That’s brilliant and certainly close enough not to be an issue.
When you said not exactly I was concerned it was like 0.2 out...

    Thanks for sharing..

Out of interest, will your 10.80 properly communicate with both 360 motronic ECU’s?
Since V10.26 mine has stopped returning good data from the RH one.
It’s apparent as the flash screen when you enter the ECU does not show the correct version numbers.
V10.25 was perfect and if I roll back the version number it is still OK.

Yes, but it depends, sometimes it can read both banks and sometimes it reads only right or left. The recovery banks are both always shown. As you already said from 10.26 these errors as shown in the pictures on both banks. It shows me then always 020E1100 "Please refer to manual". I then delete the error in both ECUs, but it keeps coming back. If I have an older version as well as 10.25, then no more errors will be displayed and all works fine.

That’s exactly what I get. The flash or flag page as you enter the ECU which should display hardware and software version is also incorrect. That’s how I first noticed it.
10.25 is fine and reads both perfectly.

If you enter via CFC231 which has been added as a gearbox option for the 360, the special functions are also missing from the menu.
    The 430 CFC231 works perfectly....

Yes, its also the same for me! I guess that there are still missing functions in the software. I don't understand why they don't use the F430 data of the TCU CFC231 on the 360 Modena, because its working there better as in the original path.

Hello, Anyone have any luck getting the 10.80 version to work with a CFC201 TCU on a 360? If so what functions work?
    Thanks much

Correct me if I’m wrong but has anyone managed to connect any version of Launch to a CFC201 TCU?

Remember in the early TCUs you couldn't set PIS and yes that included the early CFC201 series.

I'm curious will the x431 connect with a standard 360 tcu that has been reflashed with a CS TCU file or does it have to be an original CS TCU?

Why can't you just use TCU CFC231 on the 360 Modena to bleed the clutch or set PIS will it not communicate?

If per say I get a new x431 pro with version 10.80 can you download the older version like 10.25 to still be able to connect to the ecu?
