I couldn't find much info in the owner's manual about what the 3 different level of settings for F1-DC (the top right setting in Vehicle Dynamics) do.
    Do anyone know?

I was playing this week-end with manual vs auto and race vs sport and it looks to me that even in manual the gear box reacts differently in race (the highest F1-DC setting) than in sport (the middle F!-DC setting).
Am I imagining things? Do anyone has any inside about the gear box changes with the different F1-DC settings?

    Thanks

I noticed this right away. I'm at the dealer tomorrow to go over some more details of some of the electronic stuff and settings.

I'm sure you are not imagining things.

Due to that and other factors (not sure exactly what; not the noise since I have the bypass), I find the car much more enjoyable to drive in race mode (unless I am just cruising); I hope this won't get me in trouble in Seattle's wet weather!

I always drive in Race mode. So far, I haven't had any crazy episodes with it but the experience is much better. If the pavement is too rough, just select the softer button on the steering wheel.

I was at the dealer today going over this issue. Here is the answer

Yes, there are different transmission software settings for each Mannetino setting. If you get to F1-DC mode and switch the mannetino, you will see the bars move according. So, the F1-DC shows the settings of the mannetino, not the other way around.
