+ 100 Hundred Trillion Zimbabwean Dollars!!!! My car is a blast with the F1. I bought a 2000 360 F1 new and sold it within 5 days because the computer was fighting me.
The 360's version of the F1 system has proven to be quite reliable as well. With the complexity the drive by wire throttles bring to the system comes the need for everything to be 'just right' in its setup configurations. What is written in the manuals is a good baseline, what isn't could fill a novel. Over the years we have found custom set up configurations that make the drive ability far more rewarding as well as reliable. Regardless of which model, make sure you are well educated on how to drive the system properly by someone that knows the system well. These systems require regular service just like the rest of the drive train but are all to often viewed as 'if it aint broken, don't touch it'. Following that mind set will ensure future problems. Work around repairs rather than proper repairs account for the next biggest issue plaguing the system. Have someone that understands the system in its entirety do it right once, maintain the system as it should be and they are a joy to own. This is one example why Major Service prices are difficult to shop. What is really being done during those services? Throw some belts on or maintain the car?
