Just wondering what's the difference here?

I've always thought there were the same thing until I saw these pics of Kimi & Felippe at the Malaysian GP courtesy of thescuderia.net. Compare with Schumi's shirt, the drivers' shirts are missing the AMD logos. Also I wonder if they will be missing the sponsor patches at the back of the shirt (same Schumi shirt pictured below). However, I noted there Kimi does wear a shirt with AMD logos too. While looking at some random pics I also notice there is a Ferrari crew with a possibly non 'compliant' shirt, without the sponsor patches at the back? Just curious.

You'll note those are all different 'styles' of shirts, the collared button downs vs. the more casual golf shirts....I think it's random chance the placement of the various logos over time....

I have a LOT of real crew shirts of older years and you see the same thing, Magnetti Marelli was a patch on the sleeve for a long time and you know they are still a component supplier but no longer shown, same as your question on AMD .....IMO......

The only hard and fast rule related to the Tobacco vs. non Tobacco versions as that was a Federal Court settlement and laws applied
