Hi, 2003 360 Spider F1 Every once in a while the F1 dumps about an inch of fluid out of the reservoir onto the ground. It appears to be coming from the overflow in the top as on the top of the reservoir above the bracket is wet. Before it dumps the fluid it is at the upper line on the dipstick and after around the lower. It happens when the front of the car is pulled out of my garage into my driveway (cold) and the nose is pointing slightly downward, but this could be anecdotal. The only thing that I could think that would cause this kind of problem is the accumulator. Anybody had a similar issue? Thanks! Chris
The dipstick is irrelevant as the level goes up and down with system pressure. See above....key on and system pressurised should be a few mm above the baffle plate. Any higher and suck it out.... M Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk
Thanks for the pointers, still don't understand why it would overflow once every 6 months. The one thing I notice when I let The F1 "self level" (overflow), the transmission starts acting funky (eg missed 2nd to 3rd and neutral to reverse problems). Thanks! Chris
