    We had a thread like this once before when a rig like this was spotted on the streets in New York. I'm pretty sure it turned out to be an Allegretti 500 Ascari replica.

    It IS a toy of some sort.....a scale replica of a 50's F1 car...maybe Ferrari or Maserati also possible....

    Although I really liked the "Mr. G driving to the store suggestion..." but I'm not sure he summers in the Hamptons, he lives on the water year 'round...
