Thanks a lot to all of you for your wonderful comments. Yes, it was one of those "you will never forget in your life" days. Well, this are just now 86 pics here. Never ever, its my winning team So please wait till I will receive the o.k. for the rest bash of the pics........hopefully i must not wait till the end of the season (Please don`t drop me PM`s I will not send or show any of the other pics!)
Wolfgang, awsome pics!!! AAAHAHAHA... This thread just won the all time coolest thread award. Glad you enjoyed such a wonderful time. -Eric
Wolformel!! My buddy - what an opportunity!!! Thanks so much for taking the time to share your privilege with us!! Much obliged, MARK
Hey, it looks like the F2004 has got new aero devices on it! Look at the additional set of sidepod wings mounted infront of the standard ones, sticking straight out of the chassis at roughly 45 degrees. Also notice the radiator cooling grills on the sidepods are no longer there.
Wolfgang, I feel the same sense of awe and tearful joy as you! So awesome that you Europeans get these opportunities to see F1 so closely. I just got back from a trip to Maranello in which I got to see the cars going around Fiorano with V-10 sound echoing off of the factory walls. That was great for me, but your experience...WOW! Awesome experience for you to have. Thank you for sharing!
Thanks to everybody......I woke up this morning and watched the pics again to make sure I haven`t dreamed it. Still deep impressed from this amazing surrounding I have seen yesterday. Whenever I will see a Formula 1 race and Ross Brawn at the box - I will remember me sitting on HIS chair in the pit lane in front of the monitors.
Where / when did you find out about it? It looks like they're in the position where the cooling grills used to be, which have been on the car the last few races due to high temperatures. So when has this new aero device been on the car during a race? I never noticed it in any pics before the ones in this thread.
Hi Wolf!! made a post about your great adventure at ForzaRossa Tnx for letting me use some of the pictures!! Absolutely fantastic!! Waldo ForzaRossa.com
My day couldn't start better...... GREAT, GREAT, GREAT PICS WOLFGANG!!!!! That certainly is a once in a lifetime experience, thanks for sharing it with us buddy!!!! Joren REMANS
Hey Wolfie ? Question : how many guitars did you have to give to your friend for having this kind of access ? LOL I'm surprised you are able to get so close to these F1 cars. No sign of Schumi or Todt ?
Honest: no money, no guitars just a very good friendship! Schumi, Rubens and all the other big gents arrives today - non of them have been there yesterday........will meet them for sure at the Hockenheim grand Prix! its much closer and easier to go for me - just 2 miles from my house.
Wolfgang, AUSGEZEICHNET ! This is truly the one of the huge benefits we all get from F-chat. Thanks for sharing your experience (and esp. the photos) with the rest of us. I live in the heart of NASCAR country and I don't know of a single person around here that likes F1. What an experience to share. Do you think you'll really get to meet Schumi and Rubens at Hockenheim ?
Mark, thanks and its a pleasure for me. Well, it looks very, very good for the Hockenheim GP race. We have got some great additional contacts, cell phone numbers a.s.o. I hope it will work. For sure fchat.come will be the first, one and only I will post some pics. Here is a pic from MS I have shot last year at the Nürburgring...just enjoy
äääh...that's a cool picture!! Had also the pleasure to see MS once (he drove at the Marlboro Masters a demo with Ferrari a few years ago) and have one pic of him...not nearly as good as this one!!
Thanks Waldo, and just to make the set complete: here is a pic I have shot 2002 in Maranello in front of the Cavallino Restaurant. Luca & Jean.
yes yes yes.....you posted this picture once before; really great picture. Been to the restaurant Cavallino now four or five times, and never saw anybody 'famous' ... but I don't mind; food is excelent and the atmosphere is even better!
Very, very cool guys, I'll be over in Europe in July and I know I'm not going to want to come back home to the land of oval tracks and monster trucks...Maybe if I ask nicely, you guys will let me be an honorary European ? bis später, Mark
@Mark, you are very welcome Just let us know when & where you stay during your european-tour? CU Wolfgang
