Hi, does anyone know where I can view the F1 races live in NYC/NJ area. A bar, restuarant or any place? Thanks

Won't be until next year - as far as I remember it will be around local streets - you should be able to watch it from a number of places.

Can't wait to see what the local area charges for parking!!!

parking is going to be a nightmare. i'm going to take the train to hoboken and either walk to weehawken (2 miles or so) or take the light rail if it stops close.

Don't know if you want to watch it live or not. If you want to watch live NYC is probably your best bet. However, if you're interested I've been watching the races at Lusso Pizza Bar and Grill in West New York. They show the Speed replays on Sunday afternoons. Its right on the proposed track. Its been a small group of around 10 to 15 people the past few races. Mostly locals and a few friends, but hopefully it will grow. I happen to live next door so I asked the owner if he'd start showing them.

It'd be nice to eventually do a cars N coffee Sunday afternoon type thing and then watch the races.

Forgot to mention the time. 3pm Sunday. I asked if they had a DVR box so it could be a set time to watch, but apparently it's against FCC regulations for places of business to have DVR boxes. So the speed replays have typically been either at 2pm or 3pm.
