So you mean there's nowhere to park my helicopter... I like the Spanish GP and I agree with your assessment on it, but its not a good one for overtaking IMO.
The jewel in the crown is Monaco, although as already mentioned it can be expensive. I have used this operator several times, They only do Monaco and have several layers of cost from economy to Top Draw.http://www.grandprixadventures.com/.
Monaco, like Andreas said, stay in Nice, or Cannes, take the train to Monaco daily. Monza, really convenient, I like staying in Como which is about 45 minutes away by car. If you drive, do NOT park inthe infield. The rest of the standards require a lot of driving. I have not been to Asia or the Middle East.
I like the main straight, near the start finish line, across from the pits, and that huge Ferrari flag if the Scuderia does well.
We've gone to several LMS races at Monza where the entire track is open to sit whereever you choose. Some of the best viewing was at Ascari and there's a large screen tv. Here's a view for you: http://www.monzanet.it/eng/eshop_tickets2.aspx?IdManifestazione=803 Pit out is okay but there's more action at Ascari. Barcelona has to rank as one of the absolute easiest to get to - fly into BCN, take train at airport to Barcelona Sants (main station), take train to Montmelo, during F1 races there's bus transportation to the track or else it's an easy 45 minute walk or taxi ride from the train station to circuit. We stay at the Barcelo Sants (very nice hotel) located above the train station. After race, take train back to Sants, then train to airport. There are many hotels adjacent to the airport. Carol
