I'm sitting in a restaurant and something came up on a European sports channel that indicated F1 going public. Has anyone else seen anything?

AFAIK, they were intending to float it round about now. However, the "poor economic climate" has Bernie saying it's indefinitely postponed.

It will happen, been talked about for ages now. Just no one knows when.

    Cheers,
    Ian

Pitpass has 2014 at the earliest for the float.

Knowing Bernie, the IPO will be overvalued, he will cash in big time, and bribe his way out of any repercussions! Facebook mk2

I have no idea why, but yeah, Singapore was/is the listing market.

Why? Not arguing, just wondering why you say that?

    :)

He (and his kin) are *so* far ahead of the IPO, I don't think he gives a damn..... Sure, he'll make yet more $, and hopefully take a few others along, but his wealth is now well outside F1/FOM/CVC etc.

    Cheers,
    Ian
