Maybe we should have them race with tricycles. That would use no fuel and I bet the entire field will be less than one second apart at the end.

When the safety car sounds better than the entire F1 field behind it, you know something is wrong.

it's not fine when everyone know the winner even before the weekend starts lol

good that it's not a boring race to keep me awake

what fancy graphic they use to show how fuel consumption is pointless, nobody interested at fuel consumption in a race

A great race to watch for sure but not what F1 should be about.

Best race so far of the season and better than many from last year.

The tire rules, combined with the SC, is starting to intrude on the racing.

They instilled the rules to try to create some artificial passing in the event, but it's getting in the way of real on-track battles.

The "KERS" "push-to-pass" and the "red-wall/black-wall" tire rules, and the pit closure rules:
Doesn't it seem odd that the F1 "pinnacle of motorsports" has copied so many regulations from Indycar?

And the cars still sound like weed whackers.

Plus, many of the car noses look like something you'd find in a proctology office. ;)

Seriously. If the safety car hadn't of come out at the end Hamilton would have finished ahead by 9 seconds and everyone would still say what a great race it was because the two leaders passed each other twice -- before Mercedes separated them by pit stops.

Perez lost 15 seconds in 7 laps. It wasn't even a contest.

It's like saying a baseball squad split into two groups for practice and the score was 1-0.

Simply not so – Lewis would still have had to deal with being on mediums to the finish while Nico was on softs. Over the course of the race as a whole, I enjoyed seeing all their skills on display, strategic and tactical as well as wheel-to-wheel battling. And you're ignoring the fact that there was dicing for all the top ten positions throughout the race.

Just out of interest and to get an idea of the standard you'd like to see, what do you consider the best F1 race you've ever seen?
