Only year where Ferrari's in F1 were not painted red.....so the cars were painted white with blue(NART colors).
Too bad Enzo didn't let NART do that for Phil Hill in '61. Probably would have been worth it from a marketing standpoint, despite the title having already been decided.
It was only for the 2 last GPs if I recall correctly. The Scuderia wasn't allowed to participate following Enzo Ferrari sending back his entrant licence in protest. The reason was the CSI refusing to homologate the 250LM in the GT category. Only less than 40 were built, instead of the 100 required.
