    Greetings NorCal F1 Fans -

Members of SFF1.com were invited to meet Scott at Infineon Raceway for a media event last Wednesday. Scott gave a press conference, and then went out onto the track in both TAG and shifter karts with his dad, his brother Alex, and his girlfriend, Valentina. It's not often you meet an F1 driver from Northern California, and we all wish Scott the best.

I had an opportunity to ask Scott a few questions, and our members took plenty of photos of everyone at the raceway. You can see and listen to Scott on our website, www.SFF1.com

Here are photos and audio from the event

The interview covered some great comments about events in Australia, as well as his advice to younger racers who want to compete in F1 from the United States. After dominating karting championships, Scott first began racing cars at Infineon with a scholarship from Jim Russell Racing School, and won numerous events here in California before moving to Europe for the next step in his career.

Scott was a real pleasure to talk to, and it was great meeting him and his family.

We're putting together a shout out to Scott that we are sending to him before his race in Imola:

If you've something positive to contribule, please visit our site to add your name and well-wishes. Go SCOTT!

I hope Mr. Speed does well. Cheering for Scuderia Ferrari is not the same this season...
