    The evolutionary road here is pretty clear. It parallels that of combat airplanes: Sopwith Camel / P-51 Mustang / F-4 Phantom / F-16 / F-18 / F-111 / F-22 / UAV flown by a kid in a bunker outside Omaha.

    Let's just cut to the chase...All of the safety, comfort and other mamby pamby considerations go away, and the big manufacturers are pleased, when F1 is a driverless series where the "pilot" is a pimple faced 19 year old with a joystick.

    Why not just have remote control fully electric F1 cars? No need to pay hefty driver's salaries, just find geeks who are good at video games...
