Sorry if I have posted this is the wrong forum but I thought I would share it with everyone. http://www.formula1.com/news/headlines/2010/2/10423.html tex
It's a doco not a movie We wont be seeing Stallone winning a race with a broken car haha I'm sure they wont release the blueray till 2045 tho, around the same time races are finally shown in HD
"Scheduled for cinema release in spring 2011" This translates to....Scheduled for cinema release (but no US cinemas) in spring 2011.
Why would you show an F1 movie in cinemas here? You'd lose money just on making the prints to send to theaters to be shown, and forget advertising it, that is just tossing money down a hole.
Not just in the US, I can't see this "film" generating a big enough interest for any cinema audience to be honest, it's too much of a niche market. It has "straight to DVD" written all over it, if you ask Me (and yes, I know nobody was asking Me!).
I agree. It may be one of the most watched sports on the planet, but I doubt many of the followers will actually see it. I do hope they have taken my advice on having Jenna Jameson etc as Maxes' girlfriends
I would love to see this movie here in the States. Probably have to get it on DVD when it's released.
