    Bummer. Then again our cable provider would probably screw it up anyway:

    There are now many programs in HD but they are still broadcasting them in the old 4:3 aspect ratio. It looks better but still leaves a lot of black on either side. :(

    History and Discovery channels are about the only ones who are broadcasting in HD AND the correct aspect ratio.

    Bernie won't spend the bucks until he has to.
    A couple of years ago he could have charged a premium for HD. Soon he'll be forced to offer it for free.

    What does SPEED do then, just blow it up to 16:9? I remember when SPEED was not in HD and now that SPEED HD is here at least it looks better, though apparently not HD.
