    Which is better?

    Just kidding.

I've been seeing all these cars of F1 drivers, most recently Felipe Massa's 599 with CF side mirrors. What kind of transmission do the Ferrari F1 drivers use? Does schumi have a standart six speed in his cars, or does he go for the F1?

All Enzo's are F1 (as you already know). If he was really into stick, then one would think he would have asked for his Enzo to be a stick shift and not F1. Unless that was part of the deal, keep them all F1. :)

Mike's into the technology of going fast, that and the fact that I am sure they would have built his Enzo any way he wanted it. It's not F1 by accident.

It would be interseting to see though what they all have.

Years ago one of the magazines did a poll of all of them and at that time the most popular car (ownership) with F1 drivers was the Benz 190 2.3 16 valve.

I've always wondered if veteran F1 drivers even want to drive when they're not at the track. I seem to remember some porn stars saying that they didn't really have all that much sex when they weren't working because, hey, it was they're job fa cryin out loud. That could have just been a matter of perspective.

I know MSchumacher rides his Harleys around, so he must at least sort-of enjoy playing with a clutch. While in an F1 car he has a lot more things that depend on his driver control than in your average street car. I'd think he'd either a) enjoy the fact that he's more involved or b) prefer an automatic because he's tired of f'ing switching a thousand gears a day!!!

Years ago (obviously), Fangio was aked what he would drive in New York City. His answer: "I wouldn't. I'd take a taxi".
