    I have a 2000 360 F1 w/9k miles. A couple of times today as I was sitting in traffic, I heard a beep and the car popped out of 1st and into neutral. Any ideas what could be wrong?

    Take your pick

    1. Your foot was NOT on the brake or throttle while you were stopped in 1st for more than five seconds
    2. You had your foot ON the brake, in 1st, but was stopped for more than five minutes

    Not either? We need more details.

    Thanks for the response. I was keeping my foot of the brake pedal too long. My M3 SMG does not have that feature.
