Hi, Just over one night my F430 F1 makes a rather high frequency noise approx. 5min after a cold start. The pump runs and sounds OK while priming for 5seconds opening the drivers door before the start. After 5min. the F1 motor or pump turns to a high frequency noise, shortly after that also the red gearbox and E-diff lamp go on. The noise disappears for half a second while selecting 1st or Reverse. Any smart ideas if this is due to the F1 hydraulic pump or the F1 electric motor? Appreciate your feedback, best regards, Jan
See if the f1 relay that controls the pump is getting hot, it is behind the seats. They are a good thing to change as very cheap. If on way out it might be dropping the power to the pump motor- good place to start
If pump is running continuously you either have a major loss of pressure or a stuck relay ..either way disconnect battery until you can research further ..don't want pump to burn out and send metal shavings into system Sent from my moto g power using Tapatalk
Hi, Great thanks for your help guys!! I replaced the 50Amp relays for a new one and it works fine again [emoji4][emoji1303]. Best regards Jan Sent from my iPhone using FerrariChat.com mobile app
