Can someone verify for me which one of these is the F1 relay? I think it is C but the workshop manual is not specific. There is no A,B, or C on the key for this diagram. It just says 17-Relay.

    Pretty sure it is B.

Easy way to tell. Pull it and then turn on the car. If the pump runs....than it wasn't B :)

BTW, if you have not already done so, get the relay that fails open. The original style failed closed and ran the pump until it died.

Great, I've replaced the wrong one. No wonder it didn't help. I looked at Ricambi and the chart showed that B was the ABS relay. I guess it's labeled that way because the ABS relay is the same type. If I had bothered to click through I would have seen that. Unfortunately now it's too late for me to get another one here before my appointment to bring the car back into the shop.

Funny....but I asked that exact same question last summer. The explanation was it is the same relay as the ABS...just used in the F1 system.

The memory jog has me pretty certain the F1 Relay is B

PM FChat member Juri. he has the relay you need that fails open. I bought two. One is in the car...the other in the tool kit.

Yep, I'm sure you are correct. Now that I actually clicked on the part on the Ricambi site it's clear. I wish I could find one in Houston. If I order it from Ricambi I don't think it will get here before my day to bring it to the shop. I can't miss that day, they are so busy it's tough to get in.

Just replaced the relay and went for a drive. Previously the F1 lamp was flashing and sometimes just staying on along with constant beeping right on start up. I couldn't make it 1/2 a mile before the car would have trouble getting into gear. I just drove 3 miles with no lights, no beeps and the car shifts perfectly. I think it's fixed.

Daniel at Ricambi donated the part to me and delivered in less than 24 hours. He just gave me one more beautiful weekend with my Ferrari. You've got a customer for life.
