From Autosport: 14:37 There's a replay of Mick Schumacher not having enough steering lock to get out of the garage. Big cars and little pitlanes making it tricky.
Rain has stopped if I’m not mistaken. Ferraris are strong on Inters Let’s hope that it was the last rain for today and the track dries up a little more
I’m rubbing my eyes in disbelief, I know it’s still early but our guys look incredible out there. The decision to not rush updates was spot on in retrospect, most teams that brought them won’t even use them
red flag as norris beaches his car. edit: he was able to get the car out. Amateur hour again with the new race directors Image Unavailable, Please Login
Ferrari have build an absolute dream car. That chassis is absolutely amazing. Every single track we go to we're quick out of the box, no matter the layout, temperatures...the car just works. Red Bull probably has an aero advantage and an (unreliable) engine not too far behind. The times Ferrari is setting is effortless...amazing to see
exactly...I mean of course both our drivers are no slouches in wet, but we have wet weather experts like Verstappen, Hamilton, Alonso and I'd say Perez and Russell as well...MILES away.
Many of the experts said that Mercedes’ will fight with the top dogs if it’s wet since they should have good aero and porpoising is less of an issue when it’s wet as the ride height is higher anyways. Turns out that the Mercedes is dreadful in the wet. Hamilton had issues on full wets when all the other runners were fairly comfortable on inters. I’m starting to believe - like many others - that Mercedes’ concept is just inherently flawed in reality and they won’t be a factor this season. I don’t see them revamping the whole car with a different concept under the budget cap
Russell and LH unable to gain tire temp. No grip. George broke a stay on the floor with bouncing so bad for the chassis today. They are running out of time to fix this chassis and to be honest, they need a new car or the one they started testing with. They are actually slower than they were in race 1 per Autosport analysis. They have work to do but exponential issues and no budget to simply throw at it as in the past. Having potential to unlock is great if you have a good understanding of the issues inherent. Nothing in the press showing they have made a step or have a step coming so far.
Had it not been for the events in Ukraine provoking Mazepin's departure, we may never have found out how the 2022 Haas is good. At times, Magnussen can play among the tenors this year, when Haas was tail-ender most of last year. No surprise that raises suspicion in some quarters !
But he’s the GOAT. He should be able to take any POS car by the scruff of its neck and drag it to the front—like Schumi did with that Barnard-designed POS at Barcelona in ‘96. Or has he only been racking up records because of a dominant car for 8 years…. hmmm.
