My 1999 F1 Berlinetta, 24000 miles, sat for over two months with battery shut off.
Started up, drove out, but the car won't shift beyond 2nd gear. No warning light, no other indications are present. Keeping my fingers crossed that it is something simple (relay, solonoid, etc.) rather than a catastrophic failure. I have owned the car for 12 years, taken excellent care of it, and it has driven flawlessly including manual pedal shifting. Thank you all for your participation in this discussion.
