Great pictures! Looks like it was a full session of testing with most of the teams. I have hopes of coming to Silverstone within a few years to take in the race and maybe tie it into the Open Championship. Thanks for sharing.

    Mark,

Did Redbull test the whole day? It shows on the F1 website that Redbull postponed their test due to bad weather. But in your photos you show Redbull on track. In addition did Scott Speed test also?

The wing looks the same but doesn't have the Malboro stickers.

It looked to me that the wing cord was shorter on the upper element. I've gone back a few times on my lunch break.....you are right, the decals may be giving it an optical illusion.

They are supposedly doing some aero testing along with tires. I'll keep looking.

Thanks for the heads up on the helmets.....I caught that later after looking at the photos a bit more on the aero stuff.

Great shots Mark. How do they handle grandstand admission? It used to seem that tests were done under lockdown conditions, but nowadays there are plenty of people around. What gives?

they open the track ot the Public on the outside from Bridge to Copse, free entry as well. We were fortunate to get some team passes to the centre, paddock/pits area

I don't think they have any private tests in the UK anymore

Ah hah! My eyeometer still works..............

    from FIA...........

A revised design for the medium-downforce Circuit Gilles Villeneuve. The wing sports a revised flap, with reduced cross section, and revised endplates, with two, rather than the previous three, horizontal slits (right-hand arrow). With less downforce required, the main profile is higher than before. Also, the rear diagonal cut of the endplates has been reduced in width (left-hand arrow) to better manage the vortex created by airflow impact in this area.
