    Finally going to make it to an F1 race and it will be Singapore this year. I have always wanted to attend an F1 race, especially the Singapore one since it is a night race. I have been to Singapore many times but would appreciate any suggestions for the weekend of the race,

    You've been here before, so I don't think I'd need to tell you that it's still sweltering hot even though it's dark.

    Lots of fluids are a must, unless you plan to get tanked up on beer whilst at the track! (But even so, plain ol' water's a must-have)

    Dress comfortably, and be mentally prepared for rather unfriendly locals.

    Geez, surprised to hear about unfriendly locals. I have always found Singaporeans to be friendly every time I have been there. Maybe because I am with locals all the time.
    Yeah, aware of the heat and humidity! I am a pretty light drinker so I'll stick with mostly water.

    Katy Perry and Maroon 5 will be performing during the F1 week. You can also visit the bar on the roof of Marina Bay Sands. It offers a stunning view of Singapore. If you have kids, Universal studios is an option. Check out the local seafood and hawker centre which are popular with locals or if you prefer we have some nice fine dining restaurants. If clubbing is your thing, Zuok the place to be. We have a couple of Pandas arriving to Singapore and may be ready for viewing during the F1 week. Singaporeans are a friendly bunch, perhaps Mark had a bad experience. Enjoy the race and Singapore.

    Last trip to Singapore I had dinner on the rooftop restaurant at the Sands. Great views. Unfortunately no kids and the wife can't join me this time but I will be with good friends.
    Might need to catch KP if possible. Supplied quite a bit of pyro to her tour but never had the chance to catch her show.
