On that basis best teams next year driver-wise will be

    Mercedes
    Mclaren
    Williams
    Red Bull
    And Ferrari eventually

And Massa is better than Vettel :D

I would have voted Ricciardo higher and I am curious how he would have been doing in a Mercedes...

+1 on Ricciardo maybe he can go to Mercedes soon/near future with FA now at Mclaren.

LH certainly deserves this recognition from the teams.

Felipe is rated higher than I expected. Also, I would swap Alonso and Ricciardo

A credible list wouldn't rate Button behind Bianchi. I can't help but feel the list isn't entirely objective.

    All the best,
    Andrew.

I don't know that I'd rate Lewis that high.
Sure, he had the car to have, in '14.
But remember that he only beat Massa by one point for his last WDC. (And had fewer wins.)
And he had far better pit wall support from McLaren than Ferrari.

Put him in a beater, and then judge.

All 2014 showed is that he was better than Nico, this year.

The only 2 drivers who don't loose their head in a beater are Alonso and Button. Good for them I guess

True, there's a margin for sentimentality. I agree with Teak though, the list is fair, although I would have dropped Danny Fiat for inconsistency. Although he had a few electric moments in quali and is a rookie, Jev nearly tripled his point total and basically matched him in head to head qualifying. Certainly he has pace, however I'd replace him with the Hulkster in tenth. Without double points in the last race, he was only seven back of Button at year's end and ahead of him throughout the year until the last few races.

I would have rated Massa higher.

+1 on LH this year. He only had to worry about Nico and reliability. Certainly that was enough lol! Glad it was somewhat close between them to keep us interested.

In a year where there is such a disparity between cars, MB vs the field and MB engines vs Ferrari and Renault, its really difficult to make such judgments. Looking at drivers vs their teammates is one way. If you use that method, Vettel and Raikkonen had awful years. But JEV clearly had a better season than Danny K, didn't make the list and lost his seat.
