Made it up to Silverstone to watch the F1 test today Sadly no Ferrari, but McLaren, Red Bull, STR, Sauber BMW, Williams, Renault, Midland (albeit only 1 lap due to problems!!!) Great fun to watch. Just incredible how much speed the cars can carry through the corners and the braking coming into the tighter corners such as Club is mind-blowing. By the end of the day, Button, JPM and Rosberg were going through Copse (turn 1) flat out. When you are right next to the track you can just feel the power of the acceleration and braking. And the noise is amazing! Also really interesting to hear the traction control kicking in and how much TC the different cars use. Button is so smooth he hardly uses it at all, the Torro Rosso seems to be using it constantly. That car looks a real handful.
